How to request deletion of your Amaah account and data

We respect your right to have your data deleted. If you wish to delete your Amaah account and all associated data, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account, contact us using one of the following methods:

Please include your registered phone number in your request so we can identify your account.

What Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted:

Your account and phone number
Your store name and settings
All customer records
All purchase history
All payment records
All employee accounts linked to your store
Push notification tokens

What Gets Retained

We may retain the following data for legal or compliance purposes:

Transaction logs required by law (up to 5 years)
Anonymized usage statistics (no personal identifiers)

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, including customer records and payment history, will be lost.

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation once your account has been deleted.
